A native of Texas, Colonel Clark enlisted in the Marine Corps and graduated from recruit training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, followed by Basic Administration Clerk MOS School in Jacksonville, North Carolina in 1996. She subsequently reported to Inspector-Instructor Staff, 4th Reconnaissance Battalion in San Antonio, Texas.
From 2002 to 2004, Second Lieutenant Clark commissioned via Officer Candidates School and completed The Basic School, flight training, and HMM(T)-164. First Lieutenant Clark then reported to Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 268 at Camp Pendleton, California, deploying multiple times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF 05-07.1, OIF 05-07.2, OIF 06-08, and OIF 07-09).
In 2010, Captain Clark attended the Expeditionary Warfare School at Marine Corps University in Quantico, Virginia. Upon graduation in 2011, she reported to Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1), Quantico, Virginia. While assigned to HMX-1, she was designated a White House Helicopter Aircraft Commander and Executive Flight Leader in the CH-46, VH-3D, and VH-60N, and served as a White House Liaison Officer; concurrently she transitioned to the MV-22.
In 2015, Major Clark was assigned as the Aide-de-Camp to the Director, Marine Corps Staff. From 2016 to 2019, she served as the Operations Officer and Executive Officer for Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 165, deploying twice to the Middle East in support of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force–Crisis Response–Central Command (SPMAGTF-CR-CC 17.1 and 19.1).
From 2019 to 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Clark served as the Deputy G-3/Operations, 3d Marine Aircraft Wing. From 2020 to 2022, she commanded VMM-268, deploying a reinforced squadron of over 500 Marines and Sailors to Marine Rotational Force–Darwin as the Aviation Combat Element Commander.
Following command, Colonel Clark was assigned to United States Indo-Pacific Command as the Australia Political-Military Strategist until July 2025.
Colonel Clark holds a Bachelor of Science, a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Management, and a Master of Arts in International Affairs and Leadership degrees. Colonel Clark is a graduate of the Expeditionary Warfare School, Marine Corps Command and Staff College, the U.S. Air Force’s Air War College, and the Joint and Combined Warfighting School (JPME-II).
Her personal decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal; Meritorious Service Medal (third award); Air Medal (Individual Award); Air Medal (Strike/Flight with numeral 19); Joint Service Commendation Medal (second award); Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (third award); Joint Service Achievement Medal; and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (third award). In 2009, she received the Navy-Marine Corps Association Marine Officer Leadership Award. She has accumulated over 4,000 flight hours, including more than 1,400 combat flight hours.
